Awesome man. I have a few questions as a fellow designer. Are you studying or are you working? Where at? What company/school/program? Have you taken additional Photoshop classes to hone your skills? If you are still studying, where do you want to work in the future?
hello nope, i'm not a student. i'm a professional concept design in the video game industry. i have took drawing class lesson at schoole and after that i was on a high school, but more in the add and not in the "design" or "concept" area. after my school i have draw a loooot at home. i have learn photoshop by myself
haha oh sorry! it's a good comment haha it's probably hard to translate because I used an idiom: you just pump these out like they're going out of style--it means that you're making a lot of them. and that's a good thing ;D
amazing O.O... wich is the difference between an awesome speedpaint like this and an elaborate detailied picture? i mean, an awesome "speedy" like this can show the escence of the idea without dealing with lots of detail!... in the industry, the speedpaints are really appreciatted?, or to be working right in the industry you need to do hyper detailed pictures?.
hi depend. depend of what the project you working at. but speed paint is a good idea to have a start and having a strong composition/color palete/shapes and volumes etc. speed paint is very appreciated because you have a clear idea, and really fast but you have to be able to paint highly detailed pictures. speed paint is more fun but it's a art of the job, just a part and not all the job
